• • 'EXHIBIT E

RECLAIv1ATION PLAN AND TIb1ETABLE
' Reclamation Plan. The proposed use of the affected land is as
' it is now, part of the buffer zone around the Department of Energy's
Rocky Flats Plant and as a habitat for non-critical wildlife. Two
' depressions, one on the south end and one on the north end of the
property, of about fifty feet in depth will be regraded and revege-
' tated in each reclamation phase.
' Reclamation of the area mined by Lakewood Brick since July 1,
1976, will be carried out in three phases. Reclamation will commence
' immediately following completion of each mining stage. It is planned
that the necessary backfilling, regrading, sloping and revegetation
i will be completed in the first year of each phase. The usual plant-
ing, mulching and fertilizing will be done in either late fall or
early spring of each revegetation year. During the remaining years
' of each reclamation phase (three years in Phases 1 and 2 and four
years in Phase O), reclamation progress will be monitored, and
remedial work will be performed where necessary.
Originally it was thought that all of the excavated area might
' b
fill
d b
i l
it
it
d fill t
d
t
e re
e
y us as a san
ary
an
ng o accommo
e
a
refuse from Rocky Flats plant operations.
