Upon reviewing LaPoudre's
proposed mine plan, it appears Pit No. 3 and the west half of
Pit No. 2 are on Union Pacific minerals. We have been in
contact with LaPoudre's attorney, Robert Bosley, relative to
leasing our sand and gravel. Rocky Mountain Energy does
---.--_ support sand and gravel extraction from the proposed.s.ite and
we are hopeful we can successfully arrange a suitable
agreement with LaPoudre. However, to date, no agreement has
been realized.
We appreciate your withholding approval of the
special use permit until such time as Rocky Mountain Energy
and LaPoudre have consummated lease arrangements.
r
