To minimize the impact on mule
deer, ve .recommend revegetation practices that will alloy shrubs to become quickly
reeetabli,shed. For this reason, ve recommend that the herbicide used to control
weeds during reclamation be specific for non-woody vegetation. We also recommend
that revegetation be in accordance with Bureau of Land Management or Soil
Conservation Service standards. Otherwise, ve feel your project will not
significantly affect wildlife.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at the above address.
Sin rely,
~~~~~~~
Paul J. reeden
District Wildlife Manager
xc: Willi~sm Elmblad
Tom Lines
File
DEPARTMENT OF NA1'U RAL RESOURCES, David H.
