The <br />owls may use several burrows in a prairie dog town. <br />This is not easy to accomplish and will require <br />considerable time. When all active burrowing owl <br />burrows have been located and marked, activity can <br />proceed in areas greater than 150 feet from burrowing <br />owl burrows with little danger to the owls. Activity <br />closer than 150 feet may endanger the owls." <br />If the surveys mentioned above have been conducted and have documented the presence <br />of burrowing owls in the proposed areas of access and drilling, please revise the Notice <br />of Intent to indicate which of these options, if not both, Western Fuels will employ. If <br />the burrowing owl surveys have been conducted and document the absence of owls in <br />the areas proposed for access and drilling, this Item #] 6 will be considered resolved. <br />17.
