. TRAPPER M~IING INC. <br />CRAIG, COLORADO <br />STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE <br />ACCESS ROADS <br />I, James M. Holism, do state that the existing access roads listed on the attached Table S-1 and shown <br />on Map M-52 were constmcted before August 1, 1995. Construction methods were sufficient to <br />accommodate the anticipated volume of traffic and weight aad speed of the vehicles to be used. All <br />listed access roads shall not cause additional co~ributions of suspended solids to runoff outside the <br />permit area as mnoff is routed through one or more sediment control s[roctures. The access roads have <br />beep located to mieim;~r. downstream sedimentation and flooding. <br />Overall grades do not exceed lOH:1V. No pitch grade exceeds 6.SH:1V for any consecutive 1000 fect <br />and pitch grades exceeding 15% (6.SH:1V) are not longer than 300 feet within any consecutive 1000 <br />feet. Horizontal and vertical alignments are coordinated to ensure that the road will not cause <br />environmental damage. <br />Topsoil has been removed from the roadbed, shoulders and areas where associated stmctures have been <br />placed. Each access road has been constructed and maintained to provide adegrrate drainage. Water <br />• co~rol systems will safely pass the peak nmoff from a 10 year, 24 hour event. <br />No acid or toxic forming substances have been used in the construction of access roads. Access roads <br />and appurtenant stmdures are maintained in such a manner as to prevent damage to adjacent resources. <br />Access roads shall be reclaimed in accordance with Rule 4.03.2. <br />~-~ <br />James M.
