~J
r .Deposit is ideal in many aspects in view of the mining and
extraction. Location has essentially no overburden. Composition
of material is hard enough to warrant drilling and shooting, but
yet easy to cut and polish as it has very little abrasion.
Mining cost'h are much cheaper than most quarries, handling material
is much easier on machines, and processing is much cheaper, yet
because of it's uniqueness, will sustain a high market value in
comparison to other Building and Landscaping stone.
Rhyolite will be retailed for $35.00 per ton Building stone,
whereas we retail Royal Gorge (Pegmatite) for $20.00 per ton or
Sisken Green for $25.00 per ton. Slabbed material will retail $8.00
square foot approximately.
As a Landscape or Precast crush this material having a lighter
weight than quartz or granite allows covering more surface for the
same tonnage. This is a definite factor in the Landscape trade.
Also, this permits shipping to a longer distance and still remain
competitive in the market.
Consideration should also be given I feel to the location of
this site. As it has already been developed and has access to it,
I see there to be very little ground disturbance that has not al-.
ready been done. And reclamation can be accomplished quite easily.
I appreciate your cooperation and consideration on this matter,
if you have any questions or I can be of further assistance do not
hesitate to contact me':
Sincerely,
L_ ` C\~
Bill Tezak
President
BT/cr
