This Permit Revision would allow <br />mining operations to be conducted- on the "E",_Goal .Seam located` <br />directly under the No. 5 Mine. All surface mine facili-ties currently <br />being utilized for the No. 5 Mine, will be used for the No. 6 Mine. <br />There will be no new disturbance of surface lands associated.wioth4the•• <br />No. 6 Mine expansion. <br />Accompanying this letter is five (5) copies of the Permit Revision <br />application. The Permit Revision application is specifically directed, <br />at compliance with the Colorado Surface Coal- Mining Reclamation ,Act, <br />CRS 1983, Section 34-33-101 et.seG., in the coal regulations as <br />promugated by the Colorado Mine La~Reclamation Board. <br />In order to facilitate the Colorado Mine Land.. Reclamation Division <br />(CMLRD) review, the application has been developed under a format <br />following the Colorado Regulatory Program.. The. Table.. of Contents <br />coincides with the Colorado Regulation Numbers. In addition, Empire <br />Energy has reorganized its current permit into a more workable, <br />efficient document, and where appropriate,: has updated environmental <br />resources, operations, and reclamation information.
