2. A total of 114 seismic holes; one inch diameter and a maximum <br />of five feet deep were drilled along the proposed seismic <br />lines. Two water monitor wells and one bore hole were also <br />completed. <br />Each seismic hole was backfilled with cuttings, compacted and <br />excess cuttings disbursed. The bore hole was backfilled with <br />high yield bentonite grout to a depth of ten feet. A seven <br />foot cement plug was placed above the grout with the remaining <br />three feet of hole backfilled with soil. Upon completion of <br />all water monitoring activities the remaining wells will be <br />abandoned as outlined in the Notice of Intent application. <br />The bore hole drill site and those areas around each monitor <br />well not required for monitoring activities have been <br />regraded, top soil replaced and revegetated as outlined in the <br />Notice of Intent application. <br />All drilling and seismic exploration personnel and equipment <br />have vacated the area. All activities permitted under Notice <br />of Intent No. X -93- 168 -27 have been completed. <br />
