Predominant tree and shrub species within the active project area
are Lodgepole Pine, Englemann Spruce, and Willows. A variety of
grasses including Bluegrasses and Tufted Hairgrass, and forbes
comprise the understory.
The majority of the site, approximately 958, is void of vegetation.
Vegetation outside the mining area, but within the permit boundary
includes:
Aspens, Englemann Spruce, Sagebrush, Bitterbrush, Rabbitbrush,
willows, wheatgrasses, Bluegrasses, Hairgrasses, and Sedges.
