MINED LAN' LDLIFE STATEMEaT/EVALUATION (Revised) <br />for limited impact and select regular mine applications <br />The following information pertaining to wildlife is provided for use by Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board in their consideration of a mining permit for: <br />County - Cadgene Pit - SESE4i Section 29, Township 46 North, <br />Name/Type and Location of Mine (Legal) Range tiest, <br />l,'ildlife Species list: Mule deer, rabbits (cottontails), numerous small <br />mam~c:~ r.nd birds, occasional reptiles (horn}• toad, rattlesnakes, <br />bull -Hakes, v:ater =Hakes and lizard), coyote, bobcat, raccoon, <br />and occasionall~• mountain lion. <br />Endangered/critical species/inpacted <br />~~:..'v~. v l~_:~' J <br />None known. <br />~ ~ •~ <br />!i~F"~l I "nn ~,-..r,l n~.igri~.~~ ni!risl~~l <br />~'r ~ i <br />~. ~~I ~~~.:~.. , ., a..rces <br />Critical habitats/vegetative communities impacted: The pit is next to ATaturita <br />Canyon with scattered pinon and cedar and sagebrush. The area is <br />very rocky, so therE~ isn't a lot of vegetation at the present time. <br />Assessment of impact: <br />winter. They <br />adjoining hay <br />is minimal. <br />There are deer <br />mainly hang in <br />fields; also, <br />that winter around the area in early <br />the area so they can feed in the <br />in the spring. LVinter range loss <br />Tiine Reclamation recommendations (include key species/habitats for which restoration <br />is designed).
