1
1
1
EXHIBIT G
Water Information
STRONG FARM #2
The mining operation is not expected to affect directly surface
or ground water.
No surface water will be diverted into or away from the area.
1
1
Mining has been done on this site for about 25 years with no affect
noted on any surrounding water tables due to dewatering of pits during
the extraction process.
1 Any water used in washing gravel will come from existing ponded
seep water in the area, and returns to the pond, so with the exception
' of any minute amounts of evaporation, water loss is nil.
Consultation with the Colorado Division of Water Resources Office
'
in regard to the above mentioned practices has been done with none of
' the practices being questionable on this operation.
The lake fills from seepage water from the Poudre River and marsh
' areas, and no other source of water will be needed.
Water consumption estimates resulting from this operation and the
'
resultant reclamation effort are tabulated below.

1
1

Mining Operation
Plant demands:
Crushing, washing, dust control (10% loss) - 300 gpy (.2 of/yr)
Entrained water in product (3% by wt.) - 1.5 x 106 gal/yr
(4.6 of/yr)
Reclamation
Revegetation - 10 of/yr (max)
