Please indicate the anticipated topography of the final reclaimed <br />Sands, with special emphasis on the proposed or anticipated drainage <br />regime, and direction and rate of slope. (Refer to Rule 2.12(6)(F)(a)). <br />11. Please indicate on a map the location, extent, and nature or type <br />of vegetation occuring on the proposed permit area. (refer to Rule 7.12(10)). <br />12. Please indicate on a map the proposed location of parking areas, <br />plant facilities, circulation roadways, and other possible compaction <br />areas. Information should also be submitted which indicates how such <br />compacted areas will be reclaimed (eg., chiseled, ripped, etc.). [refer <br />to Rule 2.12(9) and (5)J. <br />13. Please describe how affected lands remaining above water will be <br />reclaimed (eg., seed bed preparation, seed mixture, seeding rate, <br />utilization of trees and shrubs and the related planting regime, <br />fertilization based upon soil tests, and other soil amendments such as <br />mulch, manure, etc.). Additionally, please describe how such reclamation <br />will occur over time on affected lands and the sequence in which the above <br />applications would occur during the year. (Refer to 2.12(5) and Rule 6.5 <br />in the Rules and Regulations.) <br />19. Per Section 34-32-I17(1)(e), 1973 CRS; surety shall not be required <br />of units of county government if the government entity submits a written <br />guarantee, in lieu of surety, stating that the affected lands will be <br />reclaimed in accordance with the terms of the permit and section 34-32-116. <br />15. Has the applicant filed andfor obtained a fugitive dust permit from <br />the Department of Realth. Please submit proof of approval to the Division <br />when such approval has been obtained. <br />16. In the mining lease, the land owner reserved the right to extract <br />material from the permit area. Please be advised that the holder of the <br />mining and reclamation permit is responsible for all operations occuring <br />within the permit area and for insuring compliance with that permit and <br />all applicable Iaws. <br />17. The mining lease expired on September 29, 1979, however, a clause <br />indicated that Weld County could carry out activities for up to nine <br />months, after obtaining a State permit. Please verify this understanding <br />of the lease and inform the Division of the current standing of the <br />lease, or other legal or time restrictions which would or could prevent <br />Weld County from mining the proposed area or in general interfere with <br />reclamation of affected Iand. <br />(cont'd) <br />
