Loye:
In reply to your letter of Jan. 14th and more
specifically to your phone call last night I am
writing to request that you hold the nine applications
from Lincoln County until the February meeting.
I am returning the same map for the Jerry Vlith-
ington pit with a different scale and also an outline
of the area to be permitted, This is of less acreage
than with the larger scale, but will rive us a permit
of approximately 2,25 acres which will be plenty, The
product stockpiles shown on the map have been used, and
there remains one stockpile of material dozed up frcm
the surface area which wil] used in the reclamation.
This stockpile does not show on the map, but is in the
location defined in the mining plan.
The stateTent concerning the County's legal
right to enter the Jim Larsen pits, file nol p".-84-189,
wus mailed to you about a week ago.
I have been in touch with Dave Sharman, Soil Con-
servation ::gr., ,N ith the request that he expBdite his
report on the remaining pits and also that he include his
reco:;siendations~stablizirg, fertilizing and seeding of
the pity. I will forward these reports to ycu as soon as
he gets them to me. hopefully well before the next meeting
of the Board.
Very truly yours,
'~ t
J': .Owen
~ .
