MINING PLAN

This pit was first used in 1955. Topsoil was removed and stock-
piled, however, due to the length of time [his pit has been in
operation, most of the topsoil has been lost to erosion. The
gravel was excavated to a maximum depth of 20 feet using
dozers and front end loaders.
No surface or ground water is present at this pit.
