Sand and Gravel -Sheehan Pit; File # M-2007-058; Slater, <br />Moffat County Colorado. <br />Dear Mr. Maxshall: <br />Please find below the applicants clarifications and comments in response to your <br />Preliminary Adequacy Review (PAR) of the abovementioned permit application # M- <br />2007-058. Also find attached a revised Exhibit E -Mining Plan Map and a Redamadon <br />Plan Map to show the location of topsoil stockpIles along the south perimeter of the <br />operations area and the estimated final Reclamation Plan contours as requested. The <br />Applicant has completed the Moffat County Conditional LTse Permit Process fox the site <br />and the Moffat County BOCC has unanimously approved the application this past <br />month. The following responses axe addressed in the same order as in your PAR letter of <br />October 17, 2007 (Items 1-9). <br />1. The proof of publication from the Craig Daily Press is enclosed. The proposed 8.14 <br />acre permit area is wholly contained within the 626.07 acre J. and Glenda Sheehan <br />property. There are no other landowners within 200 feet of the proposed permit <br />area requiring notification. Certified mailings to The Moffat BOCC and the First <br />Conservation District (SCD) are located in Exhibit J. <br />2. The location of the topsoil stockpiles are shown on the attached revised Exhibit E - <br />Mine Plan Map. Any and all topsoil and/or suitable surface material including some <br />possible crusher fines will be reserved along the southern site perimeter boundary of <br />the operations area. Soils covering the equipment staging and operations area and <br />any product or topsoil stockpile area will be stripped and reserved fox site <br />
