Exhibit "B" <br />(2) The operator shall provide the following information: <br />(a) A description of the vegetation and soil characteristics in the area of the <br />proposed operation acquired from the Huerfano County NRSC. <br />Soil types are the Manvel-Minnequa loams, 1 to 5 percent slopes, map <br />symbol 42, Kim fine sandy loam, 3 to 9 percent slopes, map symbol 26, Penrose- <br />Minnequa complex, 2 to 15 percent slopes, map symbol 65, and Penrose-Rock <br />outcrop complex, 4 to 25 percent slopes, map symbol 66. <br />The area vegetation and types and yields are included in the report attached. <br />Provided by Casey Shelby, District Conservationist, stationed at the Walsenburg <br />Field office at 601 South Albert Street in the City of Walsenburg, Colorado 81089. <br />(b) Identify each man-made structures within two hundred (200) feet of the <br />affected area and the owner of each structure. <br />The only man-made structures on or within two hundred (200) feet of <br />the affected area is the County Road 110 and if needed the applicant will make an <br />agreement with the Huerfano County. There will be a 25 foot no-mining buffer <br />zone starting at the 110 permit boundary. Please see Exhibit "E"- Map. <br />(c) A description of the water resources in the area of the proposed <br />operation. <br />The proposed operation is located west of the Huerfano River and all of <br />the stormwater that flows offsite from the surrounding area wi[I run into a <br />drainage that is a tributary to the Huerfano River. A Stormwater Discharge Permit <br />will be acquired from the State of Colorado Water Resources Division that will be <br />designed to prevent any drainage from the mining area from going into the <br />Huerfano River. <br />(d) A wildlife statement is not required. However it is unlikely that any <br />wildlife species will impacted negatively. <br />
