As shown on the Reclamation Plan Map, irregular <br /> shorelines will be created. <br /> ' Reclamation will not involve agriculture or horticu7. ture. <br /> ' Water <br /> Disturbance to the hydrologic balance will be minimized by: <br /> ( 1 ) Compliance with applicable Colorado water laws and <br /> regulations governing injury to existing water rights. <br /> ' (2) Compliance with applicable Federal and Colorado Water <br /> Quality Laws and Regulations. <br /> ' ( ) Compliance with applicable Federal and Colorado dredge <br /> and fill requirements. Dredge and fill is riot part_ of <br /> this operation. <br /> ' (4) No temporary or large siltation structure will be a part <br /> of the mining or reclamation plan. <br /> ' See Exhibit G for further hydrology information. <br /> Wildlife <br /> ' All aspects of the mining and reclamation plan take into <br /> account the safety and protection of wildlife on the site. <br /> Habitat management and creation is not to be part of the <br /> reclamation plan, although the operator is offering a more <br /> diverse environment, with an increased wildlife habitat. <br /> ' See Exhibit H for further wildlife information . <br /> Toosoilino <br /> As mining progresses, topsoil will be removed and stockpiled <br /> ' for replacement during reclamation. Topsoil is not expected to <br /> remain stockpiled for more than one growing season. If for some <br /> unforeseen reason it does, it will be seeded with a fast growing <br /> vegetative cover to remain free of wind and water erosion and any <br /> ' Contamination or deterioration. <br /> Existing grassy vegetation will be incorporated into the <br /> topsoil . Cottonwood trees 100 to 150 feet from the creek will <br /> remain. Cottonwood trees within the mining area will be removed <br /> and put to a beneficial use, such as firewood. <br /> E-2 <br />
