<br /> <br />MOFFAT COUNTY <br />ROAD DEPARTMENT <br />March 16, 1993 <br />RE: Notification of Mined Land Reclamation <br />Permit Application and Request for <br />Regulatory Clearance. <br />To: <br />Colorado Historical Society; <br />Colorado Division of Water Resources; <br />Colorado Department of Health (Water Quality Control <br />Division; <br />Colorado Department of Health (Air Pollution Control <br />Division; <br />U.S. Bureau of Land Management-Little Snake RA <br />U.S. Army Corps of Engineers <br />Under the provisions of the Mined Land Reclamation Act <br />(34-32-101) you are hereby notified that the Moffat County <br />Road Department has filed an application for a Regular 112 <br />Reclamation Permit from the Division of Minerals and Geology. <br />The disturbance will be a 20 acre affected area on a gravel <br />terrace '~ mile west of the Little Snake River in the NWySWy <br />of Section 17, T7N, R98W of the 6th P.M., Moffat County, <br />Colorado. See Exhibits B and C-3. <br />This operation will be on private land. It will not <br />intercept surface or ground water, nor will it affect any <br />wetlands. <br />1. There are no significant historic, or pre-historic, <br />cultural resources affected. <br />2. There are no existing, or potential water rights <br />affected; <br />3. The borrow pit will be used for county road maintenance <br />purposed, therefore the Facility is exempt from stormwater <br />drainage permits under the SIC code #16 <br />ROAD SUPERVISOR <br />P.O.
