Mount, Senior Reclamation Specialist
Division of Minerals and Geology
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
Dear Mr. Mount:
Re: Bad Boy Stone, Bad Boy Stone Pit, File No. M-92-108
The following are our comments and recommendations regarding this
application.
This reclamation application is for an area that has already been impacted
by mining activity. Based on the information provided, the current
reclamation plan is inadequate. The proposed revegetation plan is not
acceptable.
John Vasquez has recently contacted our office requesting assistance in
conducting an inventory and evaluation of present site conditions. He
has also requested our assistance in developing a reclamation plan which
would include the re-establishing of many of the native plants disturbed
in the mining process. We will provide assistance to Mr. Vasquez toward
developing a reclamation plan when time permits.
Sincerely,
(~ n y1l~t.~iaF~ ~
Louis Rademacher
President
LR :rah
CONSERVATION ~ DEVELOPMENT-SELF-GOVERNMENT
