See Exhibit 9-3,
Topsoil Balance Plan or Exhibit 12-1, Operations Plan,
4for locations and Table 9-3-1 for individual stockpile volumes.
These soil map unit areas were disturbed by previous mining activity
5(pre-law and Permit 75-36) and subsequently reclaimed.
The entire 29.92 acre area will be reclaimed to rangeland. A 6 inch
topsoil replacement depth was previously approved for 22.88 acres within
Mine Areas 2 and 3 under Permit 75-36. Therefore, a 6 inch topsoil/subsoil
replacement depth over 3.5 feet of suitable spoil is justified for these
previously disturbed areas within Mine Areas 2 and 3. A 10 inch topsoil/
subsoil replacement depth is justified for 7.04 acres of first time
disturbance area within Mine Areas 2 and 3. The 6 and 10 inch topsoil/
subsoil replacement areas are shown on Exhibit 13-1b, Postmine Soil
Replacement Depths.
9-3-9 Revised 02/29/88
