This pit will be approximately 2 feet deep and is
needed to contain the drilling foams. Dorchester will strip and
stockpile topsoil from this pit area. Operators will be instructed
to strip to the depth where a change in soil color is detected
(the bottom of the A horizon) or to a depth of 2 feet if no color
change is apparent.
C~
After drilling is completed, the drilling foam will be removed from
the pit and will be placed in the refuse pile. The topsoil will be
replaced and the disturbed areas reseeded this fall.
.\
Please call Mr. Jim Ericson, if you have questions.
Sincerely,
Dean) . hlassey~
Dire to r;Governmenta ffairs
DRS+1: ed
