I ' EXHIBIT G
' Water Resources
Water is currently over-allocated in the area of the project. Water
requirements for the project include those for potable water and sanitation
and those for a gravel washing plant.
Meteoric waters ultimately drain into the Platte River, the general
drainage direction of the area is shown on the pre-mining map. The drainage
' in the immediate vicinity of the mine known as Lone Tree Creek is ephemeral
in nature.
'
Potable and sanitary water requirements are expected to be satisfied by
t portable sanitation facilities and trucking of potable water.
Water to be used in the wash plant and that required for fugitive dust
control is anticipated to be obtained under a temporary transfer from rights
' owned by the grazing association which is leasing the gravel rights to Tucker
Construction. The Terry Grazing Association Water Rights are rights for ten
'
cfs on the Mantey Ditch, appropriated March 15, 1882, and adjudicated January
' 15, 1914.
t Additionally, Tucker Construction has access to a 190 cfs and 70 cfs flood
water right owned by R. C. Tucker and known as the A. J. Eaton Flood Rights.
' These rights were adjudicated January 15, 1914. Tucker Construction is currently
pursuing the temporary acquisition of Union Pacific Railroad rights initially
1 adjudicated November 21, 1895 on the Carr Reservoir and Pipeline. These rights
' are 1.97 acre feet and .95 cfs respectively.

1
