The proposed well is in Section <br />23, of T.135, R.90W, 6"' Principal Meridian, Gunnison Co~mty, Colorado. The proposed <br />project 19 withal the current permitted coal mining area (Permit Number C-80-007) and <br />on land surface managed by the USFS. The well will be located oa Federal Coal (BLM) <br />Lease COC-056447. The w~eli will be drilled in the any pnwiously approved under TR <br />96 and subsequent approvals fat the anneal operating places i.e. 1MR 306 (20115), for <br />Methane Drainage Wells aced Minor Revision 319, for the pad and 24HS-Ol, 24HS-02, <br />24IdS-03 Wells. <br />MCC's overall phm far drilling and reclaiming MDWs was originally approved by <br />CDMG on 15 July 2002 as Technical Revision 9b -Project Plan for McNrane Ihainage <br />Wells for Panels 16, 17, 175, 18-24. The Forest Service performed an F.rrvironmental <br />Assessment of MCC's Methane Drainage Wells Plan, and approval was received in the <br />Decision Notice gad Findmg of No Significant impact, May 31, 2002. Tads proposed well is <br />in the overall project ama but was not proposed for inclusion in the U5 Forest Service <br />reviews for 1ViDWs. As sack, this well is the subject of this separate Minor Revision <br />l3e~use this weA is on US Forest Service managed lands, US Forest Service has <br />tentatively approved of the installation of tlris well on the previously approved drill pad- <br />The attached Proposed 1tiIDWs and New Road Conshtrdion for 20D5, Map 2, at a scale of <br />1" = 600', depicts the general location of the proposed drill pad, and Project methane <br />drainage wells, and the new road (part of the 2005 MDW Project).
