Coyotes, bobcats, cottontail rabbits, raptors, jackrabbits and a <br />variety of small birds and mammals inhabit the area. Also, there are colonies of <br />prairie dogs. <br />Endangered Species Impacted: none that are known <br />Assessment of Impact on Wildlife: (may be attached) Deer winter on the <br />mesa tops and side slopes. The impact will come from the removal of vegetation <br />(browse) and human activity associated with mining activities. <br />I~tine Reclamation Recomm=_ndations: (may be attachad) Structures (buildings, etc. <br />should be built away from sagebrush parks. Roads should be kept at a minimum. A -_ <br />large amount of human activity away from the mining operation should be discouraged.. . <br />Any water that could be developed could be used by many forms of wildlife. Should be" <br />a good area to reveaetate with browse and native grass species.
