The undersigned citi2ens respectfully request the Reclamation Board
to schedule a public hearing in Colorado Springs during reek-end or evening
hours to consider our verbal objec.'.ions to Castle corcrate's pending
applications to continue mining activities in our community.

1. Public docwrents filed by Castle concrete in Colorado Springs
at the E1 Paso County Clerk and Recorder_'s Office exclude
reclamation plans from public scrutiny. These plans are
stamped "confidential".
2. Castle's actions speak louder than their xords. The
company has wrought almost total devastation at Snyder,
Queen's Canyon, and Pikeview quarries; clearly evident
to the casual or trained observer.
