A few species will be displaced <br />over the short-term during construction and long-term alteration of the habitat tiom <br />agricultural to open water pond habitat will faYOr aquatic species and discoura_~e <br />terrestrial species. <br />Qualifications of Surveyors <br />Ronald Beane is a certified ecologist and a Zoology Research Associate ~~ ith the <br />Denver Museum of Nature and Science. He has performed small mammal investigations <br />for more than 17 years throughout the Western United States. He is certified to conduct <br />Preble~s surveys by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and has completed more than 70 <br />habitat assessments and ~0 presence/absence surreys for Preble's over the last 6 years. <br />References <br />Andelt.
