". ~ v

EXHIBIT B
M?NING PLAN'
The proposed site is generally. southwesterly from the
Robertson Ditch which is approximately at elevation 5975 feet
above sea level. The highest point on the nine acre site is
slightly over 6000 feet. It is intended that all usable
gravel be removed from a level approximately five feet above
the ditch level to the natural contour at the limits of the
site. It is estimated that this deposit contains approximately
140,000 yards or 210,000 tons. In effect two shelf areas
will be removed with a new level at the base of the seam
being a new shelf at elevation approximately 59$0 feet.
Mining will be accomplished by the use of front end loaders
as used in typical dry pit operations.
The initial stages of the project will be started in
in the northern most part of the site and move in a general
southeasterly direction.
It is estimated that the life of the operation would
be from four to tai years determined entirely by market con-
ditions. In the event that annual production should exceed
seventy thousand tons, a new application will be filed prior
to mining anything in excess of that quantity.
In addition to conventional front end loading equipment,
gravel crushing, sorting and conveying equipment will be in-
stalled. Application has been made for a special zoning to
allow operation of a concrete batch plant on the site. In
the event that the permit is granted, batch plant equipment
will be installed. Proper settling ponds and a recirculated
water system for gravel washing activities will also be put
in place in compliance with county and state regulation.
