There is no Y <br />overburden suitable for the reclamation of the site. The remaining soils left after the <br />mining operation is completed will be supplemented with imported soils to create a <br />planting mixture. The planting mixture will also be supplemented with organic materials <br />to complete the seed bed for the area mined. The reclamation of the site will start in the <br />summer of 2007 and be completed by the end of 2008. <br />b The maximum gradient for the slopes will be 3 tot or less. The slopes will be a <br />minimum of 30 feet from the adjacent properties. At the toes of the slopes the <br />excavated areas will have 4 to 1 or flatter slopes that will follow the contours of the <br />claystone layer. See the attached Reclamation Pian. <br />c (i) The planting growth median will be placed and spread to a depth of 6 <br />inches. The City will be making the planting medium from the remaining soils in the <br />excavation, imported soils from other city locations and composted materials from the <br />Mesa County Compost Facility.
