We do not <br />have complete information on surveys conducted In Colorado, and our site f les cannot be considered complete because most <br />of the state has notbeen surveyed for eulturel resources. There is the possibility that as yret unidentified cultural resources exist <br />wdhin the proposetl impact area. <br />Therefore, in the event there is Federal or State involvement, we r ecommend that a professional survey be conducted to identify <br />any cu0ural resources in the project area which are eligible to be listed in the National Register of Historic Places. We look <br />forward to consulting wdh you regarding the effect of (he proposed project on any eligible cultural resource in accordance with <br />the Advisory Council on Histodc Preservation Procedu2s and the Preservation antl Protection of Histode and Cultural <br />Resources 736 CFR ej.
