Box 1034
Dickinson, ND 58602
RE: Environmental Site Assessment for Sand and Gravel Pit, Burlington, Colorado
Dear Mr. Rebel:
Transmitted herewith are the results of our environmental site assessment for the subject property.
The purpose of this study was to provide data for an environmental site assessment of a parcel
of land located approximately six miles east of Burlington, Colorado. The property was
evaluated for the potential presence of hazardous waste and or oil, relative to environmental
conditions.
The site is located within an 18-acre parcel in the NE'/a, NW'/a, Section 5, Township 9 S, Range
43 W, Kit Carson County, Colorado. Currently, the land is mostly vegetated with native range
grasses, except at location of the existing pit.
Based upon our review of current and past land use, review of State and local files, and
observations during our site visit, we have found no evidence to suggest the presence of sources
or contamination of hazardous waste andlor oil at this site as described in Colorado Depaztment
of Transportation, Revised Specification Section 106.
Please call if you have any questions or require additional information concerning the information
presented in the attached report.
Sincerely,
GEI CONSULTANTS, INC. ~'p~;~~x'`"~-'r''G
,~--- @v:
~ ~.~= 19046
/ ......-- 0~~.
Keith A.
