A total of eleven springs were located in this survey. Several of the springs identified
(SPBC-1, SPBC-2, SPCC-1, SPCYC-1) appear to emanate from the contact of sandstones with
lower hydraulic conductivity units. These springs may represent discharge from fracture zones
within the sandstone, or a contact spring. Most of the springs were located on the eastern side of
the property with four springs in Bonita Canyon (Map 2.04.7-1). One spring/seep SPCWC-1,
• located on the west side of the property, is unique in that it emanates from a hillside. The source
sw.375\December 4, 1996
12
