Box 537
Idaho Springs, Colorado 80452
RE: Poorman Mine - File 1182-58
Phoenix Ttine - File 1182-75
Dear Mr. Mosch:
As you know, on April 22, 1982, the Alined Land Reclamation Board approved
the above cited applications with a financial warranty of $100.00 each.
There are numerous ways of bonding these operations; Deed of Trust,
Certificate of Deposit, Letter of Credit, Corporate Surety, or Certified
Check. As we discussed briefly the other day, the State prefers not to
use a Deed of Trust far such a small amount. Afy suggestion is for you to
use one of the other methods and request release of the appropriate amount
of your current prospecting bond (that amount which specifically covers
these mines). Please contacC me when you have decided which warranty you
will use and I will send the appropriate forms.
Enclosed please find a performance warranty form. A performance warranty
is required for each operation prior to the issuance of the permits. Upon
receipt of the financial warranties and the performance warranties the
permits for these operations will be issued.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely
ay Lucas
Reclamation Specialist
JL:ep
Enclosure
