511 ESH IB IT D
J NINING PLAN AND TINETABLE
LOCATION
The property is located in Eagle County approximately 1.50
miles west of the Town of Eagle and along U. S. Highway 6.
The entire Affected Lands as outlined on Map Exhibit C is
46.08 acres ±. Stage 1 contains 9.65 acres ±, Stage 2 is 20.04
acres ± and Stage 3 is 16.39 acres ±. In order to increase the
usefulness of the property, it is B&B Excavating, Inc. plan to
mine this terrace deposit to an elevation approximately 10 feet
above the normal flow level of the Eagle River. This leaves the
floor elevation of Stage 1 at approximately 6460 feet, where as
Stage 2 would be gently sloping from approximately 6460 to 6470 feet
sea level datum. The 10 feet elevation change is more than adequate
to prevent flooding of the operation even if the spring flood levels
are what they were in 1984. Along most of the river the bench line
will exceed 50 feet from the river highwater mark, the exception
to this rule is in the northwest part of Stage 1 and a small
section in Stage 2.
Of the 46.08 acre ± in the affected lands, 33.40 acres ± will
be mined the remaining 12.68 acres ±, is the setbacks from the
river, the property lines, the power poles located in Stage 3 and
the road. For the approximate acres contained in each stage see
the mining timetable following this text.
CURRENT CONDITIONS
Exhibit C-1 shows the outline of the affected land, the touching
landowners, current topography, and hydrologic features. Map Exhibit
I-1 shows the soil types and vegetation as delineated by the Soil
Conservation Service. The land is presently sitting vacant and not
being utilizes for any specific purpose at this time.
5
