The Brown Derby Mine lies in Section 3, Township 49 North, Range 3 East, New Mexico Principal Meridian, on the eastern border of the Partin U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute series Quadrangle. The Pitkin Quadrangle
is immediately east of the Partin Quadrangle. This map was prepared from the Partin and Pitkin Quadrangles by joining the two and cutting out the relevant area, showing the Brown Derby Mine in relation to
Highway 162, the Indian Head landmark, and the town of Ohio, Colorado. Direction and distance labels direct the reader to Partin and U.S. Highway 50, approximately four miles from the southwest comer of this map, and
to Pitkin, appro~amately four miles from the northeast comer of this map. For convenience, the entire Partin and Pitkin Quadrangles also are enclosed with this Application. The access road is highlighted in yellow.
