Rehabilitation will be initiated as soon as material <br />removal is complete: this will include reshaping, seed bed prep- <br />aration, and~,seeding. ~ <br />2. All disturbed areas will be reseeded with a mixture of 30% western <br />wheatgrass, 60% pubescent wheatgrass, and 10% yellow sweetclover~ <br />at 10 lbs/acre. The seed will be drilled during the fall. <br />3. Pa:cavation area will be reshaped with small terrace structures <br />and ripped prior to seeding. <br />? 4. There will be no interference with natural drainage through the <br />area, and excavated material will not be placed in drainages where <br />'• it may be washed downstream. <br />C <br />5. Adequate warning signs a[ all approaches to the working areas will <br />l be posted to protect anyone from injury. Sites will be kept clean <br />i <br />and orderly and all litter will be removed from the material site. <br />i~ 6. Water will be used to reduce the dust problem on the haul roads <br />I <br />1 <br />( and in the mining area. Permission will be obtained from the legal <br />'! water right holder and subject to $LM approval. <br />4t <br />7. No vegetation wilt be removed beyond the limits of the exFavation <br />~ area. Low growing vegetation will not be pushed into piles, but <br />} will be scattered about the site. <br />`• 8. The permittee shall immedia[ely bring to the attention of the BLM <br />:~ <br />( any and all antiquities or otiicr objects of historic or scientific <br />' interest, including but not limited to, historic or prehistoric <br />} ruins, fossils, or artifacts discovered as a result of operations <br />7 <br /> <br />
