It measures <br />46 x 20 x 5 cm. The top has been pecked and it is concave in shape. Zt vas <br />largely used in the very center of the rock slab. The bottom is fiat. The edges <br />appear to have been deliberatly rounded. Some. lichen growth'is present on the <br />top and on the sides. This metate was not collected, but was photograph. <br />Mono fragment, SRB1221-3 is made of coarse-grained quartzitic sandstone. It is <br />uaifacial. Marro fragment SRB1221-2, is the same, but a larger piece and <br />finer grained. Tire third nano fragment, SRB1221-5, is red, medium grained auartzit <br />sandstone that is bifaeially used. <br />13) iio concentrations of materials were found: just a gen=_ral scatteraalong the <br />slope. Cultural materials occur is areas of less vegetation and eroding areas, <br />showing some subsurface potential. <br />
