COLORADO HISTORICAL SOCIETY <br />Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation <br />1300 Broadway Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />Andrea schlichenmayer <br />Bahke and Geeao, LLC <br />'120 Kipling, Suite 11'1 <br />Lakewood, CO 80215 <br />12/23/2002 <br />AC your request, the Office of Archaeology and Historic Pre aervation has conducted a search of the Colorado <br />Inventory of Cultural Resources for the following locations: <br />PM TWNSNP RANGB SfiCTIONS: <br />6TH 2N 6~W 13 <br />1 site(s) were located in the designated area(s). <br />1 survey (e) were located in the designated area(s). <br />Results of the search are summarized in the attached report. <br />IE information on sites in the project area was found, detailed information follows the summary. IE no sites or <br />districts were found, but surveys are known to have been conducted in the project area, survey information <br />followv the summary. We do not have complete information on aurveyv conducted in Colorado, and our site files <br />cannot be mnai dared complete because moat of the state has not been surveyed for cultural resources. There is <br />the possibility that as yet unidentified cultural reaourcea exist within the propoved impact area. <br />Therefore, in the event there is Federal or State involvement, we recommend that a professional survey be <br />conducted to identify any cultural reaourcea rn the project area which are eligible to be listed in the National <br />Register of Historic Places. we look forward to coneu long with you regarding the effect of the proposed proj ec[ <br />on any eligible cultural resource in accordance with the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation Procedures <br />and the Preae rvation and Protection of Historic and cultural Resources (36 CPR 8001.
