Banks and Gesso, LLC
EXHIBIT J -VEGETATION INFORMATION
Overview
At present, the Heit property is an approximately102-acre open field. The majority of the
property has been historically used for cultivating various crops. No displacement of
significant vegetation will occur.
Adjacent Land Uses and Vegetation
Areas immediately adjacent to and within approximately 200 ft of the proposed site
consist of agricultural, oil and gas production, transportation (Weld County Roads 20 and
25), gravel mining and residential uses, with their typical associations of vegetation.
Potential Wetlands or Protected Species
A search of the Colorado Natural Heritage Program's BCD (Biological and Conservation
Datasystems) files indicated that there were no occurrences of rare, threatened or
endangered species of plants located within the project area. A copy of the search
records is attached as Appendix 3.
Heit Sand and Gravel Mine
SW Meadow, LLC
02044
February 2003
19
