As cae Discusses by phone, }tart Rolc does have a $10,500 Letter of
Credit issued by the First National Bank of Salida on deposit with the
Board.
The enclosed i`}arch 7. 1978 letter from Ifark heifner states that the Letter
of Credit was surety under the Compliance Plan. Now that the Permits have
been approved, I would hope that this Letter of Credit would meet the
Board's bonding requirements. A copy of the Letter of Credit is attached.
You will note that the Letter of Credit expires Wovember 16, 1950. I have
verbal assurance from the President of the First }Iational Bank of Salida
that this will be extended. I believe that I have told you that I have a
contract for sale on this operation which should close in early January of
1981. At that time we will do a Succession of Operators, and the new buyer
will supply his own bonding. Tlien the present owners and the Bank can be
released from this Letter of Credit.
Thanks for your help.
Cordially
~~i~v
Lloyd V.
