Lung Division Dneclnr RE: Informal Conference, Western Mobile Northern, Inc., Loveland Pit, File No. M-2000-034 On March 30, 2000, Western Mobile Northern, Inc. filed an application for a gravel pit reclamation permit at or near Section 24, Township SN, Range 69W, 6'h Prime Meridian, in Larimer County. The pending date for consideration of the application is July 28, 2000, assuming that the Applicant responds to the issues raised by the Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG) no later than July 6, 2000. Otherwise the date for consideration may be extended. A copy of the application is available for review at the Larimer County Clerk and Recorder's office and at the office of the DMG, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver. Any changes to the application, including the responses to DMG's review, will also be available for review at these same locations. The decision to approve, deny, or approve the application with conditions will be made by the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board during a Formal Public Hearing. Notifications of the date, time, and location of the Heazing will be provided at a later date. The first step in the process leading up [o the Heazing is the hold an Informal Conference. This conference is scheduled for July 20, 2000 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the TST, Inc. Consulting Engineer's conference room, 748 Whalers Way, Building D, Fort Collins, Colorado. The following description of [he Informal Conference Process is reproduced from Rule 1.4.6 of the Construction Materials Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Boazd (Boazd). Please note that the DMG is referred to as "the Office" in these regulations. At the Informal Conference, each person objecting to the approval of the application shall set forth the grounds for the objection. Similarly, the Applicant, and any other person supporting the approval of the application, shall present the grounds necessary to support the approval. (a) Any interested person may participate in the Informal Conference by submitting written comments or by appearing in person. (b) If any person may be affected or aggrieved by Office or Board action, that person may petition the Office for admission as a party to the matter before the Board. Such a petition shall be in writing and shall set forth a brief and plain statement of the facts which entitle that person to be admitted as a parry and the matters which the person claims should be decided.
