The Fremont County <br />Assessors Office lists you as an adjacent land owner. In <br />1976 the Colorado Legislature passed House Bill 1065 which formulated <br />new regulations fcr mineral extraction in the state and provided a <br />mer_hanism to insure that reclamation of lands disturbed for mineral <br />extraction was conducted in an environmentally compatible manner. <br />These new guidelines are monitored by the Colorado Mine3 Land Reclamation <br />Board. <br />In order to provide for suitable reclamation for the area near your <br />property, Colorado Refractories Corporation retained ou-r firm to prepare <br />an environmental study and reclamation plan for their on-going <br />project. This plan is on file at the Fremont County Clerks <br />Office and at the Mined Land Reclamation Board. Although no major <br />change is anticipated in either ~~e extraction mode or rate at the <br />site and the project has been designated a "limi*_ed impact" operation <br />it is appropriate that you be notified of the filing of the plan <br />and the proposed action of the Board. <br />In order to advise others of the continuing activity the following <br />notice has been published in the Denver Post: <br />
