MINE INFLOW STDDY and SOMP WATER ANALYSIS
An annual mine inflow study and sump water analysis plan
was approved by the division. However, due to degrading
1`~~ underground conditions and the Pact that the Apex Mine is no
longer being de-watered, this monitoring will not be conducted
during the time which the mine is idle.
When mining resumes, the previously approved plan will
be followed to wit:
A study comparable to the inflow atudY Presented on page
65.03 will be submitted to the Division.anually, Analysis will
be performed to determine-the following parameters:
"~~H Conductivity T. Whenever
possible, the following schedule will be followed. However, due
to variable nature of Colorado weather and the fact that the
mine is idle and sampling personnel are not readily available,
some deviation Prom this schedule will likely occur.
SAMPLING PARAMETERS
pH pH
Blectroconductivity 6lectroconductivity
Temperature Temperature
Stream flow Water surface elevation
SCHEDQLE
April 30
August 31
October 31
SPRING/SEEP
The requirement for a sprit
suspended with the Mid-term Permit
request that additional monitoring
resume.
May 20
September 20
November 20
SDRVEY
1g and seep survey was
approval.
