Point 3001 (influent) <br />Influent Parameter Monitoring Frequency Sample Type <br />Flow, MGD Weekly Instantaneous <br />or Continuous <br />5-Day Biochemical Oxygen Monthly Grab <br />Demand (SODS), mg/P <br />Self-monitoring sampling by the petmittee for compliance with the monitoring requirements specified above shall be <br />performed at the following locations: Outfall 001, prior to entering Fish Creek; Outfall 002, the point of discharge <br />at the effluent weir in the control building, prior to entering Emerald Spring (a spoils spring); Point 300I (influent) <br />samples shall be collected prior to entering the first aerated lagoon. Influent samples shall be collected at the <br />specified frequencies regardless of whether a discharge occurs during the applicable period. <br />If the permittee, using the approved analytical methods, monitors any parameter more frequently than required by <br />this permit, then the results of such monitoring shall be included in the calculation and reporting of the values <br />required in the Discharge Monitoring Report Form (DMRs) or other forms as required by the Division. Such <br />increased frequency shall also be indicated. <br />d. Oil and Grease Monitoring <br />• For every outfall with oil and grease monitoring, in the event an oil sheen or floating oil is observed, a grab <br />sample shall be collected, analyzed, and reported on the appropriate DMR. In addition, corrective action shall <br />be taken immediately to mitigate the discharge of oil and grease. A description of the corrective action taken <br />should be included with the DMR. <br />2. Salinity Parameters <br />In order to obtain an indication of the quantity of Salinity, measured as total dissolved solids (TDS) being discharged <br />from the site, the permittee shall monitor the wastewater effluent at the following frequencies: <br />Outfall Fregueucy Sample Type <br />001 Quarterly Grab <br />Self-monitoring samples taken in compliance with the monitoring requires specified above shall be taken at those <br />locations listed in Part I.B.1. <br />• <br />
