Long <br />Dinvon Director <br />Re: Receipt of 112 COdS~netlOn Materials Reclamation Permit Application, Delta Paving Gravel Pit, <br />FSIe No. M-98-105 <br />Dear Mr. Settle: <br />On January 4, 1999, the Division of Minerals and Geology received your 112 Coostructioa Materials Reclamation <br />Permit application for the Delta Paving Gravel Pit, which is located in Delta County. All caaanent and review <br />periods began on January 4, 1999. The decision date for your application is scheduled for April 5, 1999. <br />Within ten (10) days after submittal, you must publish notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the locliry <br />of the proposed mining operation once a week for fora (4) consecutive weeks. Within that same ten (10) day <br />period, you must mail or personally serve a copy of the same information provided in the public aodce [o the <br />newspaper to the owners of record of surface rights and all owners of record of surface lands that aze within 200 <br />fee of the lioundary of the affected land. Immediately after the first publication, mail a copy of the notice to this <br />office. Proof of notce and mailings, such as Certified Mail -Rerun Receipt Requested, must be submitted to the <br />Division of Micerals and Geology prior to the decision date. Additionally, any changes or additions to the <br />application on file in our office must also be reflected in the public review copy which has been placed with the <br />Delta County Clerk and Recorder. <br />The Division is reviewing your application to detertnire whether it is adequate to meet the requiremems of the Act. <br />We will contact you if additional information is needed. <br />Please be reminded that all operators must contact the Colorado Departmeru of Health, Water QLraliry Comrol <br />Division regarding storm water permits. <br />[f you have any questions, please contact me. <br />Sincerely, <br />~;r Thomas D.
