• SECTION 1.0 2000 Annual Reclamation Report
As specified by the revisions(1/3/90) to 2CCR 407-2, 2.04.13; Trapper Mine is submitting an Annual
Reclamation Report for the previous calendar year(2000).
Historically, section 3.5.3 of Trapper's mining and reclamation permit required a reclamation map be
submitted to the CDMG annually by March 15. Subsequent to 1988 the map entitled the"Postmine
Contour Map"was changed to"Reclamation Map." The reclamation maps developed from aerial
photographs taken during the previous fall shows pit advancements, recontoured spoil areas and a
historical account of the previously regraded areas for the year.
The 2000 reclamation map is a composite of the aerial photographs taken in October 2000, and shows
the reclamation performed during 2000 for all areas under bond. Map(s) 1.0 show the aerial extent and
location of mature shrub clumps, disturbed acres, graded acres, topsoiled acres and perennial seeded
acres during 2000. It also shows the location, aerial extent and reclamation year of all previously
revegetated areas, as well as the projected mature shrub clump establishment areas, topsoil stripping
areas and laydown areas for 2001.

1.2 Results
Table 1.1 and Map(s) 1.0 show the 2000 reclamation results. The various reclamation stages
are addressed below in separate subsections.
1.2.1 Disturbed Acres
In 2000, Trapper disturbed 212.29 acres resulting from topsoil salvage for pit advancement,
haulage corridor construction, topsoil stockpile construction, sediment pond construction, and
other miscellaneous activities as approved by the Division.
1.2.2 Backfilled and Graded Acres
Trapper backfilled and graded to final contour(AOC)approximately 143.60 acres in 2000.
These acres were in Ashmore, Derringer and Flintlock pits.
1.2.3 Topsoiled Acres
Trapper retopsoiled 143.60 acres during 2000 in Ashmore, Derringer and Flintlock pits.
1.2.4 Seeded Acres
There were 104.97 acres seeded to permanent reclamation in fall 2000. The remaining 38.53
acres retopsoiled in 2000 will be seeded in spring 2001. These acres were all in association
