Alma City Limits. We had previously confirme with the <br />mayor of the town of Alma that the only part of t e permit <br />area within the city limits of Alma is a portion f Access <br />Road "A". The city has confirmed that use of this road as a <br />mine access is in conformance with city zoning req irements. <br />A letter confirming this is being sent by the city and will <br />be provided to the MLRB prior to the hearing. <br />We have also further corresponded with Park ounty to <br />confirm that the permit area is in conformance wi h county <br />zoning regulations (see attachment). The county p omised to <br />send a letter of clarification. <br />3. Additional Haul Roads. Any additional haul roads or <br />access roads will be added to the permit by ame~dment or <br />technical revision. <br />4. Stockpiles. Stockpiles A, B and Care al~ topsoil <br />stockpiles and have been indicated as such on the enclosed <br />amendment to plate no. 4. <br />5. Milling Processes. As stated in the application, no <br />chemicals will be used in the milling process. <br />6. Proposed Diversion Ditches and Berms. All proposed <br />diversion ditches and pipes have been clearly identified on <br />the amended plate no. 4. <br />7. Cross-Section of Impoundment. A figure howing a <br />cross-section for a typical impoundment for the Ala Placer <br />Mine is being prepared by Ladd Engineers and will be <br />submitted to the MLRD by Friday, June 21, 1985. <br />8. Warranty Costs. We understand the MLRD com~tent. No <br />response required. <br />9. Comment Letters. Responses to the significank letters <br />of comment are attached. <br />10.
