Cattany <br />Parker, Colorado 80138 olvlslon Olrector <br />/ Natural Resource Trustee <br />Re: Ha/dorson Sand and Grave/ Mine, Permit No. M-2003-037, Approval of Ground Water ~~ <br />Monitoring Program. <br />Dear Mr. Lewicki: <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology Staff has reviewed the proposed ground water <br />monitoring plan submitted by Lewicki and Associates for the above referenced site. <br />Staff's review of the placement of the wells, monitoring for depth, pH and specific <br />conductivity as submitted on December 9"', 2003 meets the requirements directed by the <br />Mined Land Reclamation Board under Stipulation No. 2 for approval of the permit. <br />Therefore, staff is approving the monitoring plan and giving formal notice to proceed. <br />Staff is finishing the bond calculation for the reclamation of the 7 wells and will address <br />the issue with the permitee.
