' MINED LAND WILDLIFE STATEMENT/EVALUATION (Revised) E X HIB IT H <br />' for limited impact and select regular mine applications <br />The following information pertaining to wildlife is provided for use by Mined Land <br />Reclamation Beard in their consideration of a mining permit for: <br />C & M Companies - Distel Farms - SE 114 SW 1/4, and the SW 1/2 SE 1/4, Sec. 8 T2N, R68W. <br />Name/Type and Locat}}'on of MMine (Le al) <br />' less the S 1/2 of the SE 1/4 SW 1/4 SE 1(4. and ~ llZ NW 114 NE 1/4 NW 1/4, Sec 17, T2N, R68W <br />Wildlife Species list: Weld County <br />Deer, pheasant, rabbits, muskrat, beaver, opossum, dove waterfowl, <br />raptors, magpie, numerous small rodents and seasonal songbirds. <br />' Endangered/critical species/impacted: <br />'~ Bald Eagles forage in this area during winter months. <br />1 <br />Critical habitats/vegetative communities impacted: <br /> <br />N/A <br />Assessment of :Cmpact: p, .major portion of this area is wet meadow, which should be restored <br />as nearly as i~ossible. <br />I <br />Mine Reclamation recommendations (include key species/habitats for which restoration <br />is designed). A detailed reclamation plan for this project has not been recieved by this <br />office. However, since much of this area is wet it is strongly recommended that the <br />native giesses be used on drier areas as well as native Cootonwood and shrubs such as ribes <br />or skunkbush <br /> <br /> <br />
