1
Tt:e proposed reclamation plan meets the requirements of Rule 6 in
' tt:e MLRD regulations as follows:
Grading
' Grading will be done along to provide stabilized shorelines
around the lakes. All backfilling will be done with native
overburden and topsoil. There are no known toxic materials in
' tt~e proposed backfill and as such will not cause groundwater
contamination.
Tt~e grading will be done to control erosion. Final grading and
reseeding will be done immediately after grading and topsoiling
hags been done. All backfilling will be completed in phases after
' mining is completed.
No acid forming materials, refuse, or toxic producing materials
are known to exist in the area and will not be used for
reclamation. Any materials of this nature found during the
mining operation will be disposed of according to applicable
l~iws .

There are no drill or auger holes associated with the mining
operation.
' A:L1 slopes left by the mining operation will be no greater than
3:1 from 5 feet above to 10 feet below normal water surface
e:Levation. All other slopes will be no greater than 2:1.
'
W;3 to r
D:Lsturbance of the area will be done to minimize the affect on
' tl~e prevailing hydrologic balance as follows:
(+s) The operator shall comply with all applicable Colorado water
' laws.
(li) The operator shall comply with all applicable Federal and
' State water quality laws and regulations.
(::) The operator shall comply with all Federal and State
requirements for dredge and fill.
