Following the mining of each phase, <br /> the site will be reclaimed prior to commencing work on the subsequent phase. Upon <br /> completion of each phase of the operation any unused overburden will first be spread out <br /> on site and then covered with 6 to 18 inches of topsoil previously stockpiled on site. The <br />t site will be graded level to an approximate elevation of 5440 and will resemble the <br /> existing topography of the mesa. The site will be prepazed for a seedbed by disc and <br /> harrow immediately prior to planting. Planting shall take place between October 15'" and <br />' December 1 S'. The seed shall be installed with a seed drill to a depth of/< to 'h inch. If a <br /> broadcasting method is used the recommended seed mix rate shall be doubled and the site <br /> raked in two directions immediately following the planting. Fertilizer and mulch is not <br />' required or recommended by the NRCS for the reestablishment ofhigh desert scrub.
